Data Collection & Use Policy

Introduction

Moodleaf: Mood Tracker & Diary is an iOS diary for recording how a day felt, adding a line about it, and looking back at those records in a calendar. Because a diary is a private thing, this Policy sets out exactly what the App ("Moodleaf") does with information. Anything unclear here, or any request about your data, can be sent to contact@idevtbs.com and we will answer it.

1. We do not collect personal information

No personal information about you is gathered, kept, sent anywhere, or passed to anyone. What you record sits in the App's own storage area on the phone. Mood entries, written notes, and your settings stay there, and there is no registration, no profile, and no password to invent.

2. Feature-related notes

During general app usage, the App may receive limited non-personal diagnostic information, such as:

Nothing in that list identifies a person. It exists so that faults can be found and the App made steadier.

3. App features

The App provides the following local, on-device tools for keeping a personal record of your moods:

All operations are performed locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server.

4. Third-party services & analytics

To improve the App and understand how it performs, we use third-party services that may receive limited, anonymized, non-personal data. These include analytics tools that show general usage patterns, external providers that support the technical operation of the App, marketing measurement partners, and the App Store, which processes any purchase. The text of your entries is never part of what these services receive, and no personally identifiable information is collected or used.

Where the App offers paid access, the purchase itself is made through the App Store. We never see or store card details. What reaches us is the state of the subscription, an order reference, and the store region, which together tell the App which features to unlock and allow that access to be restored after a reinstall or a change of device. None of it is linked to what you write.

5. No permissions are requested

The App asks for nothing from the system. In the current version there is no access to the camera, the photo library, contacts, the calendar, location, health records, or notifications, so no prompt of that kind appears. Everything it does happens within its own storage area, using only what you type into it.

6. Erasing what you have written

Any single entry can be deleted from the day it belongs to. To remove the whole diary at once, open the menu and use the option for deleting all data. The removal is immediate and final, and since no copy exists anywhere else, nothing remains for us to delete on our side. Removing the App from the device has the same effect.

7. A note on wellbeing

Moodleaf is a personal journal for self-reflection. It is not a medical service, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and the record it builds is not a clinical assessment. If your mood is affecting your daily life, please speak with a qualified professional, and in an emergency contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Policy is refreshed whenever the App changes in a way that affects it. The current text is published in the App and on the App Store listing, carrying the date it came into force, and using Moodleaf after that date means the newer text applies to you.

Thank you for trusting our App with something as personal as how your days feel.
