Moodleaf Terms of Use
1. General Provisions
Moodleaf: Mood Tracker & Diary (the "APP") is made available on the conditions written in this Terms of Use agreement ("Agreement"). The developers of the APP may revise these conditions at any time without giving notice beforehand. A revised Agreement takes effect as soon as it is published within the application and replaces every earlier version from that moment.
Read this Agreement carefully before you use anything the APP offers. Should you disagree with it, or with a later revision of it, stop using the APP. Continued use is treated as confirmation that you have read the Agreement, understood it, and accepted every provision in it, revisions included.
2. Service Description
Moodleaf: Mood Tracker & Diary currently offers a way to mark how you feel on a given day using a five-point scale, to add a written note if you wish, to review and edit earlier entries through a monthly calendar, to search your own notes, and to erase the whole diary from the settings menu. The App requests no system permissions and works entirely with what you enter into it.
Full use of the App requires a subscription that renews on its own. The price and the billing period appear on screen before a purchase is confirmed. Payment is charged to your Apple account, renewal continues until you cancel, and cancelling is done in the subscription settings of that account rather than by deleting the App. Refund requests are decided by the App Store under its own rules.
Unless something different is stated, features added later fall under this same Agreement.
You acknowledge that the service is supplied on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The developers of the APP are not answerable for delays, deleted content, transmission faults, or other difficulties connected with the service. Any part of it may be paused or withdrawn at any moment for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons, without notice given in advance.
3. Compliance with Laws
Use of the APP must stay within the laws and regulations that apply where you are. Conduct that breaks those rules, or that interferes with the proper working of the service, is not permitted. Where such a breach occurs, the developers of the APP may end your access at once and without notice.
4. Privacy
The APP runs on your device and does not depend on remote servers or cloud infrastructure. Entries, notes, and settings remain in local storage at all times, which keeps what you write out of anyone else's reach. Information handled during use is protected in line with applicable privacy rules and with the APP Privacy Policy.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the service to:
Interfere with or disrupt the normal functioning of the service, or attempt to reach data or systems you have no right to reach;
Upload or spread malicious software, viruses, advertising, or spam;
Act in ways that endanger the security or privacy of other people or their devices;
Break any law or regulation that applies to you.
Where any of the above occurs, the developers of the APP may end your access to the service and take whatever legal steps are appropriate.
6. Special Notice for International Use
You recognise that the Internet crosses borders and agree to observe the local rules governing online conduct and content in the country or region where you live.
7. Wellbeing Notice
Moodleaf is a diary for personal reflection and nothing more. It is not a healthcare product, it offers no medical advice, diagnosis, or therapy, and neither the entries you keep nor the calendar built from them must be relied on when deciding anything about treatment or medication. If your mood is affecting your daily life, please speak with a doctor or therapist. If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline immediately, because the APP cannot help in an emergency.
8. Disclaimer
Every risk connected with using the service rests with you. The developers of the APP give no assurance about its continuity, its reliability, or how it performs.
The developers of the APP carry no liability for lost entries, interrupted service, or other damage that follows from your use of it.
Keeping your own backup is strongly advised, since a device can be lost, reset, or damaged, and an entry removed from it cannot be recovered by us.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Should a dispute arise out of or in connection with this Agreement, both sides agree to look first for an amicable settlement. Failing that, the matter goes to arbitration under the rules of a recognised arbitration authority, and the award that follows binds both sides finally.
10. Changes to this Terms of Use
The developers of the APP may amend or update this Agreement whenever they see reason to. Revisions are published within the application together with the date of the latest change. Using the APP after such an update means the amended terms are accepted.
